Hi Guys!  I'm Mindy and I am the owner and one of the photographers at MHP.  I am so glad that you dropped by our Senior web site!  Just so we can get to know each other a bit before your senior portraits I thought that I would tell you a little bit about myself.  Like many of you, I started with photography back in high school with photojournalism.  Thanks to Mrs. Waters, my photography and yearbook teacher for the inspiration!   I didn't know back then that I would eventually take on photography as a career.  For many years, I was a webmaster (yes, they called us webmasters back then!) for Compaq, which eventually became Hewlett Packard.  It wasn't till after I began having kiddos of my own that my love of photography was rekindled and that's where Mindy Harmon Photography began over ten years ago.  I believe whatever your career field, that education is the foundation to being successful and I continue to this day to educate myself, grow, teach others, collaborate with others and continuously expand my knowledge in this fabulous field.

That was my career journey in a quick nutshell, so how about things that are a little more personal.....  I'm a wife to a fantastic man that continuously encourages me in everything I do and inspires me with his own work ethic.  I'm a mom to 3 boys.....16, 14 and 12....they are the reason I live!  I also live for shopping.....can that be a hobby?  Or, maybe a sport?  I'm good at it....it should be.  I love fashion and interior design.  I love art.  I'm inspired by the Old Masters of the Renaissance the most.  I love traveling.  I'm clumsy.  You'll probably see me trip at least once or twice during our photo shoot!  Just giggle with me when it happens and pretend you didn't see it.....or, point and laugh hysterically....I'm ok with that too....I have boys, I understand.

Professional info.  Check.  Personal info.  Check.  What else?  Oh!  This part is important to me.  I live my life and run my business with 4 core values in mind...

Family (family always comes first)

Gratitude (thankfulness for others and absolutely everything around me)

Trust (makes sure that my actions allow others to trust me wholeheartedly)

Philanthropy (always give back through service and self)

One of the fabulous things about MHP is that we are located in the same building as Lavish Salon and Blow Dry Bar!  They are a full service salon offering everything from cuts and color to Balayage highlights and Brazilian Smoothing treatments.  They are AMAZING!  And, how fantastic is it that they are part of our Artistry Team?!?!?

This means that we have an entire team to help you get ready for your big day!  First, freshen up that cut or color at least a week prior to your session.  Then, on the day of your photoshoot, our makeup artist and hair artists will take care of all of the details to polish your look before you get started!
